LIQUOR STYLES

Liquor holds a storied place in history, fueling revolutions, great political
leaders and one of the darkest periods of American history—prohibition.  And
just as backwoods moonshine combated the evils of prohibition (and caused the
occasional blindness), liquor continues to be one of the world’s greatest
problem solvers.

On the rocks, straight up, neat or mixed in a cocktail, liquor can be consumed
in a variety of ways and is recognized as everything from a classy beverage to a
liquid scourge.  The quality of liquors can be debated, but in the end it comes
down to the individual drinker’s taste and to which shelf your budget can
accommodate.
