Light Lager

As the name suggests, light lagers are typically a lighter version of a  and
carbohydrates.  Light lagers frequently contain large amounts of grain
adjuncts (fillers used to alter flavor) to further lighten the beer.

The appearance is often very pale to yellow in color, with a head that rarely
lasts past the first few sips.  On a positive note, it’s easy to drink, thirst
quenching and won’t overpower the flavors of food.  Overall, when thinking
light lager, think light in color, alcohol and flavor.

Common Examples:
Coors Light
Bud Light
Miller Lite
Corona Light
Amstel Light
